The Galaxy V2 S is a stripped-down, high-performance metal guitar built for speed, precision, and consistency—without visual excess. Designed as a fully realized, highest-spec instrument, the V2 S delivers the same fast response and ergonomic comfort as the Galaxy V2, focused entirely on function.
Built for players who prioritize performance over presentation, the Galaxy V2 S removes decorative tops and finishes in favor of a direct, purposeful build. Every contour, measurement, and component is optimized to reduce resistance between player and instrument, resulting in a guitar that feels immediate, fluid, and effortless at high tempo.
Built to Soleil’s highest specification, the Galaxy V2 S features a black limba body with a durable high-gloss polyurethane finish, providing a balanced tonal foundation with tight lows, focused mids, and clear articulation. A quilted black limba neck, reinforced with carbon fiber rods and secured by a two-way stainless steel heel-adjust truss rod, delivers excellent stiffness and long-term stability while keeping weight and fatigue to a minimum.
The neck is shaped with Soleil’s custom asymmetrical C–D profile, featuring a fuller C on the bass side and a flatter D on the treble side. This geometry follows the natural mechanics of the hand, giving the thumb a solid anchor for fast runs and legato while keeping the fretting hand relaxed during long sessions. The result is a neck that feels fast, stable, and predictable without feeling thin or fragile.
A black walnut fretboard, 24 Jescar jumbo stainless steel frets, and 25.5” scale length create a smooth, durable playing surface built for accuracy, endurance, and aggressive technique. Luminlay blue side markers ensure visibility on dark stages, while understated white mother-of-pearl dot inlays keep the look clean and functional.
Hardware is straightforward and road-ready. Hipshot open-gear locking tuners, a Hipshot 6-string fixed bridge, Graph Tech Black TUSQ XL nut, Graph Tech TUSQ string trees, and Dunlop strap locks provide tuning stability, direct string response, and long-term reliability. The control cavity is fully shielded for noise-free performance.
Electronics are tight, aggressive, and controlled. A matched set of aged Bare Knuckle Aftermath pickups delivers fast attack, focused low end, and excellent note separation under high gain—ideal for modern metal, technical riffing, and articulate lead work.
Controls are simple and dependable: 1 volume with coil split, 1 tone, and a 3-way toggle, wired with CTS components and an Orange Drop capacitor for clarity and durability.
