Care Guide
Care Guide
Daily/Post-Play Care:
Wipe Down:
* Use a clean, soft, lint-free microfiber cloth to wipe down the entire guitar, including the strings, neck, and body.
* Pay extra attention to the fretboard, as sweat and oils can accumulate there.
Storage:
* Store your guitar in a hard case when not in use.
* If using a stand, ensure it's stable and in a safe, temperature-controlled environment.
Regular Maintenance:
String Cleaning and Replacement:
* Clean strings regularly with a dedicated string cleaner or a clean cloth.
* Replace strings when they sound dull or feel rough.
Body Cleaning and Polishing:
(Polyurethane Finish):
* Use a fine microfiber cloth to wipe down the guitars finish
* Avoid abrasive cleaners or polishes that could scratch the finish.
* Do not use any alcohol based cleaners or harsh chemicals
Maple Fretboard Cleaning:
* Do not use lemon oil
* To clean it, use a slightly damp cloth to remove dirt and grime.
* Avoid using excessive moisture, as it could seep under the finish and cause damage.
* If needed, apply a small amount of boiled linseed oil being careful not to drip onto the guitar body or neck. Wipe into the fretboard and let stand for 15 minutes. Wipe off the excess.
Richlite Fretboard cleaning:
Understanding Richlite:
* Richlite is a composite material made from resin-infused paper. This makes it very different from traditional wood fretboards.
* Because of its composition it is very durable, and not as porous as wood.
* This means it's less susceptible to absorbing dirt and moisture.
Cleaning Steps:
* Gentle Wiping:
* For routine cleaning, a simple damp cloth is often sufficient. Use lukewarm water.
* Wipe down the fretboard, paying attention to areas where dirt and grime tend to accumulate.
* Ensure you wipe away any moisture residue with a clean cloth.
* Tools:
* If you need to scrape off built-up grime, use a soft plastic tool to avoid scratching the Richlite. A popsicle stick can work well.
* Things to Avoid:
* Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these could potentially damage the fretboard.
* Oiling is not necessary for Richlite fretboards, unlike traditional wood fretboards.
Key Considerations:
* Richlite is quite resilient, so you don't need to be overly cautious. However, it's always best to use gentle cleaning methods.
* Regular, light cleaning is preferable to infrequent, heavy cleaning.
Hardware Maintenance:
* Check tuning pegs, bridge, and other hardware for loose screws or parts.
* Clean metal parts with a dry cloth to prevent corrosion.
Environmental Considerations:
* Temperature and Humidity:
* While polyurethane is relatively resistant to environmental changes, it's still important to avoid extreme temperature and humidity fluctuations.
* Keep your guitar away from direct sunlight, heaters, and air conditioners.
* Although maple is a hard wood, large swings in humidity can still cause issues.
* Humidity levels:
* While a polyurethane finish protects the wood, extreme dryness can still cause issues with the neck. Keeping the humidity levels within a reasonable range, between 40%-60% is always recommended.
Important Notes:
* Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners on any part of your guitar.
* When cleaning the fretboard, avoid getting moisture under the finish.
* If you notice any cracks or damage to the finish, consult a professional luthier.
* When cleaning the guitar, never spray cleaning products directly onto the instrument. Always spray the product onto the cleaning cloth.
This is a custom order and will be made for you after payment. This guitar is not in stock. Your build time is approximately 8 - 12 weeks.

The Dark Matter Nimbus is the signature artist model for Thomas Weidick (Homicyde, Visitant, Titothomvs). Inspired by Thomas's relentless fast tracking and brutal playing style, this precision-engineered weapon is built for maximum tension, absolute clarity, and flawless control under extreme conditions.
Every detail is completely intentional, resulting in an ultra-lightweight 7-string machine that feels dense, locked-in, and oppressive in the best way possible—engineered to maintain precision under pressure and dominate when conditions turn hostile.
Why the Nimbus Belongs in Your Rig:
Built for Fast Tracking: Thomas’s style demands hyper-fast string recovery and instantaneous note separation. The Nimbus is built to ensure that even during the most frantic, high-speed alternate picking or rhythmic djent tracking, your notes never smear, blur, or turn to mud.
The Custom Asymmetrical C–D Neck: Carved to follow the natural mechanics of a human hand under high-speed playing conditions. It features a rounded C-shape on the bass side for maximum comfort during heavy, aggressive riffing, which flawlessly transitions into a flatter D-shape on the treble side to give your thumb perfect placement and leverage during high-fret solos and fluid legato.
The 9th-Fret Fix: Most multiscale guitars slap the neutral fret in the wrong spot, leaving you with extreme, wrist-snapping angles on the first five frets where you actually spend your time tracking rhythm. By moving the neutral point to the 9th fret, the fan opens up gently and naturally, making complex chugging and low-register riffs effortless.
Flawless Low-End Tension (25.5" - 26.5"): Gives you an ultra-tight, crushing transient attack on the low B without forcing you to buy tree-trunk string gauges, while keeping your high strings snappy and loose enough for fast leads.
Premium Tonal Foundation: A solid Black Limba body provides massive, warm mid-range punch, while the Flame Maple drop top injects aggressive high-end bite. Built to be incredibly lightweight and perfectly balanced on a strap, it entirely eliminates stage fatigue.
Surgical Rig Clarity: Custom-slanted Bare Knuckle Aftermaths deliver immediate attack and exceptional note separation under heavy high-gain and digital modelers. Wired with a Coil Split and a Treble Bleed, you can roll your volume back for ambient cleans without your tone turning to mud.
