Galaxy V2 - Purple Burst

The Galaxy V2 – Purple Burst is a high-performance metal guitar built for speed, precision, and effortless control. Designed as a fully realized, highest-spec instrument, Galaxy V2 is focused on fast response, ergonomic comfort, and consistency for technical players who demand accuracy at tempo.

Inspired by orbital motion and constant acceleration, Galaxy V2 reflects a design philosophy built around efficiency. Every contour, measurement, and component is optimized to reduce resistance between player and instrument, resulting in a guitar that feels immediate, fluid, and exceptionally easy to play at speed.

Built to Soleil’s highest specification, Galaxy V2 features a Black Limba body paired with a 5A Flame Maple top, delivering a balanced tonal foundation with strong mids, controlled low end, and clear articulation that cuts through dense mixes. A 5A Flame Maple neck, reinforced with carbon fiber rods and secured by a two-way stainless steel heel-adjust truss rod, provides excellent stiffness and long-term stability without adding unnecessary mass.

The neck is shaped with Soleil’s custom asymmetrical C–D profile, featuring a fuller D on the bass side and a rounded C on the treble side. This profile follows the natural shape of the hand, giving the thumb a stable anchor for fast runs and legato while keeping the fretting hand relaxed. The result is reduced fatigue, improved control, and a neck that feels fast without feeling thin or fragile.

A Wenge fretboard, 24 Jescar jumbo stainless steel frets, and 25.5” scale length create a smooth, durable playing surface built for speed, accuracy, and long sessions. Luminlay Blue side markers ensure visibility under low light, while Luminlay Blue inlays keep the look clean and focused.

Hardware is streamlined and precise. Graph Tech Ratio locking tuners and a Hipshot black 6-string fixed bridge provide excellent tuning stability, direct string response, and solid feel under aggressive picking. A Graph Tech Black TUSQ XL nut, Graph Tech TUSQ string trees, Grover Quick Release black strap locks, and Gotoh black dome knobs complete a setup designed for reliability on stage and in the studio.

Electronics are tight, responsive, and articulate. A matched AuroraTone Leviathin pickup set delivers fast attack, controlled low end, and exceptional note separation—ideal for modern metal, technical riffing, and high-speed lead work.

Controls are clean and intuitive: 1 volume with coil split, 1 tone, and a 3-way blade switch, wired for clarity, durability, and consistency.
