“So the best way I can describe what makes us different, or what makes us ‘special’, would be that there's really not much that sets us apart from any other nerdy dudes. We met when I was working at a cardshop about 10 years ago, mentioned playing music (both coming from different live music backgrounds) and just jammed on and off for years. Marty used to tour in the hardcore/metalcore scene up in the North East around the Connecticut area, and I grew up on the Gulf Coast playing acoustic music in dive bars. We had some similar interests when it came to the music we grew up on, but what always drew us back together to keep jamming and eventually making music was the difference in our perspectives. Acoustic and hardcore, from two different sides of the country is essentially where our sound melds from. At least in my mind. But, we play games, we watch just about anything that touches pop culture, and we love making music that can reflect that. But thats about the best sum up I can give you without rambling all day about it."
