The Galaxy V2 – Xeno Green is a high-performance metal guitar built for speed, precision, and controlled aggression. Designed as a fully realized, highest-spec instrument, Galaxy V2 removes friction between player and guitar—delivering immediate response, ergonomic comfort, and consistency at extreme tempos.
Inspired by the biomechanical menace and claustrophobic tension of the Alien universe, Xeno Green represents Galaxy V2 in its most predatory form. Every contour and component is optimized for efficiency and control, resulting in a guitar that feels fast, deliberate, and unforgiving—built to strike cleanly and without hesitation.
Built to Soleil’s highest specification, Galaxy V2 features a black walnut body paired with a quilted maple top, delivering a tight low end, focused midrange, and articulate highs that remain clear under high gain. A flame maple neck, reinforced with carbon fiber rods and secured by a two-way stainless steel heel-adjust truss rod, provides exceptional stiffness and long-term stability without adding unnecessary mass.
The neck is shaped with Soleil’s custom asymmetrical C–D profile, featuring a fuller C on the bass side and a flatter D on the treble side. This geometry mirrors the natural mechanics of the hand, giving the thumb a solid anchor for fast alternate picking, sweeping, and fluid legato while keeping the fretting hand relaxed. The result is reduced fatigue and precise control at speed.
A black walnut fretboard, 24 Jescar jumbo stainless steel frets, and 25.5” scale length create a smooth, durable playing surface built for accuracy and endurance. Luminlay green side markers ensure visibility in low-light environments, while abalone inlays add a subtle, organic contrast that complements the Xeno Green aesthetic.
Hardware is streamlined and purposeful. Hipshot gold open-gear locking tuners and a Hipshot gold 6-string fixed bridge provide solid tuning stability, immediate string response, and consistent feel under aggressive picking. A Graph Tech Black TUSQ XL nut, Graph Tech Black TUSQ string trees, Grover gold strap locks, and Gotoh gold dome knobs complete a setup designed for real-world performance.
Electronics are aggressive and controlled. A matched Bare Knuckle Aftermath pickup set with gold covers delivers tight low-end response, fast attack, and exceptional note separation under high gain—ideal for modern metal, rapid riffing, and articulate lead work.
Controls are clean and intuitive: 1 volume with coil split, 1 tone, and a 3-way toggle, wired for clarity, durability, and consistency.

Body Cleaning and Polishing:

Maple Fretboard Cleaning:

* If needed, apply a small amount of boiled linseed oil being careful not to drip onto the guitar body or neck. Wipe into the fretboard and let stand for 15 minutes. Wipe off the excess.
Richlite Fretboard cleaning:
Understanding Richlite:
* Richlite is a composite material made from resin-infused paper. This makes it very different from traditional wood fretboards.
* Because of its composition it is very durable, and not as porous as wood.
* This means it's less susceptible to absorbing dirt and moisture.
Cleaning Steps:
* Gentle Wiping:
* For routine cleaning, a simple damp cloth is often sufficient. Use lukewarm water.
* Wipe down the fretboard, paying attention to areas where dirt and grime tend to accumulate.
* Ensure you wipe away any moisture residue with a clean cloth.
* Tools:
* If you need to scrape off built-up grime, use a soft plastic tool to avoid scratching the Richlite. A popsicle stick can work well.
* Things to Avoid:
* Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these could potentially damage the fretboard.
* Oiling is not necessary for Richlite fretboards, unlike traditional wood fretboards.
Key Considerations:
* Richlite is quite resilient, so you don't need to be overly cautious. However, it's always best to use gentle cleaning methods.
* Regular, light cleaning is preferable to infrequent, heavy cleaning.
Hardware Maintenance:
* Check tuning pegs, bridge, and other hardware for loose screws or parts.
* Clean metal parts with a dry cloth to prevent corrosion.
Environmental Considerations:
